A little about me:
I am married to a wonderful hubby who lets me do whatever I want and is very supportive to my ventures...haahaa. No kids yet, unless you wanna count my cute little Maltese. He is so smart, sometimes I feel like he is like a 3 year old, and not a pup at all.
I like many things and hate very few things, so it would be easier for me to list things that I dislike. I dislike mean, rude, ill-mannered people. Don't like to eat pork or much meat, but not a vegetarian. Hate the cold. Not an outdoors type of person. Don't really do any sports...hence this is why I craft.
Love books, anything old and unique, love to travel, love food (all types especially junk food), love to dance, love to hang around nice people, oh yes, I love to give business advice.
A little bit about my educational and work background. I have Degrees in Marketing, Supply Chain Management (Operational Management), International Trade (Imports & Exports), I have a real estate license, Gender Studies Degree, Spanish (for 10 years, but haven't used it everyday in the last 5 years, so I'm a little rusty), I have also worked in PR and Event Coordinating for a few years. I have owned and operated more than 6 different businesses both International and Domestic USA. I have traveled all over the world doing business, speaking multiple languages, and I absolutely LOVE it. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life: craft, blog, enjoy my family. My motto in life, is that it is never too late or too early to do what you LOVE. You are the only person that is stopping yourself from achieving your dreams.
During my free time I like to read business books and art books. I love to travel with my husband. I love Disney World and Theme Parks. I love to shop for craft supplies. I also like to cook (but not everyday, this will take the fun out of it). I love to watch Comedy and anything light hearted, but most of all, I just love a good laugh.
ABOUT MY CRAFT:
I LOVE to and enjoy to hand make charms, trinkets, and jewelry. I come from a fashion background (I used to be a coat designer). I have always wanted to make jewelry, ever since I was a little girl. And never in a million years, did I ever think that I can make a living doing what I LOVE. I love fashion, but I love jewelry MORE. And What I enjoy most about the process of making the jewelry, is making the charms. I LOVE charms. I love it so much that I can't stop making them. I enjoy making charms and trinkets more than the jewelry itself. That is why I set up my supply shop in the first place. So that I can sell it off to make room for more charms.
MY GOAL FOR THIS BLOG:
The reason why I am setting up this blog is to help others with creative ideas. Also, this is a place where I am able to share creative ideas with other creative people. I will be posting How-Tos, D-I-Y series, and also will be posting videos of different projects. I would love to feature other artists on my blog as well. So if you have any crafting ideas that you would like to share, I would love to do a post on you, your craft, your store, or anything that is interesting that you wonderful and talented creative minds would like to share with me.
Ideally this is a site set up so that I can feature my arts and crafts along with other people's wonderful works that I admire as well. And I love to give business advice, so I will be writing a lot of articles on business and including articles (from other people) that I read and like and that I would like to share with you. But primarily, this blog is meant to be a little archive to everything that I like. I will do my best to include all the appropriate sources where credit needs to be mentioned.
MY GOAL IN 5 TO 10 YEARS:
I would LOVE to be doing what I love to do everyday of my life and stay at home with my family. And that is to craft all day and blog all I want.
I have been working on writing a few books for the last few years. I hope to finish all of my materials soon so that I can get it distributed out so that you can have a copy of one of my lovely book that I have worked so hard on putting it together. I have finished writing them a long time ago...it's just that I have so many ideas and a book can only be so long...so I have to thin it down. But in the process of making everything more straight to the point, I have to make sure that I don't cut out the most important details.
